Annual medical check-up

An annual medical checkup helps you stay healthy and keep long-term illnesses away or under control.

The doctor's annual check-up includes two home visits by a nurse, where you get to know your important health values. At the first visit, a health survey is carried out, which includes an interview, various measurements and an extensive laboratory package.

After the laboratory tests are completed, a familiar nurse will come to you again as agreed and open a video connection with the doctor using TerveysLoika's equipment and connections. You get to talk to the doctor like you would at a regular office visit, except that you are comfortably in your own living room. The doctor will give you instructions for treating your illness and promoting your health, and will make medication changes if necessary.

You can receive a direct reimbursement from Kela for the doctor's video reception when the reception is related to the treatment of an illness, leaving you €182.00 to pay for the annual check-up. The doctor's service fee and the nurse's mileage allowance outside the Valkeakoski agglomeration are added to the visit. An extensive laboratory package is included in the price of the health examination.
